Happy Valentine's Day!!!!!
Normally Valentine's Day is not a day that Mark and I really celebrate. Not seriously anyway. We usually celebrate a week later on the anniversary of our first date. This year.. 13 years ago I met him and some mutual friends at the ice skating rink in Fairfax. He was a hockey player, so of course he circled rings around me. I didn't mind, I thought it was dear. Anyway, as the night progressed we had such an amazing connection that I knew this was going somewhere. Obviously it did. So today is really more about the fun Valentine's cards and treats the kids get from school. The heart shaped eggs and the chocolate covered pretzels I make with the kids. So to all. Happy Valentine's Day!!!!
On another note, last Friday the kids had a Multicultural Fair at school. They really had a great time celebrating the countries of Mark's side of the family. Slovakia and the Czech Republic. We have so many items from both of these countries, it really wasn't difficult to get everything together. Here are some of the pictures from our tables.
